A collection of actions, activities and drawings by Studio Polpo, a small research driven architecture practice and social enterprise in Sheffield. This exhibition brings together work from different members of the studio and includes practice based work, academic research and interdisciplinary collaborations. It also presents a variety of work from the ChopShop community fabrication project.
This exhibition will take place on the ground floor shop unit in the City Centre. The exhibition is wheelchair accessible. Toilet facilities are not wheelchair accessible and there are no baby changing facilities. There is on street parking and the venue is very close to Charles Street Multi-storey car park.
This will be the first event of a programme of exhibitions, workshops and talks that Studio Polpo will be curating at 18-22 Union Street, a new shared working space for creative practices in the Centre of Sheffield. Studio Polpo is an architecture and social enterprise in Sheffield. The exhibition has been organised in collaboration with ChopShop, a community CNC fabrication and design facility in Shalesmoor.
There will be an opening party on 27th June from 6pm onwards.
