David Mellor Street Scene Exhibition
Exhibition of David Mellor’s iconic street furniture designs. One of Mellor’s aims as a designer was to improve the quality of the urban environment.
This exhibition of his street furniture of the 50s and 60s illustrates how Mellor – working in parallel to Jock Kinnear and Margaret Calvert – helped alter the appearance of the UK’s streets.
David Mellor Design operates on the simple principle that well-designed equipment can improve your life.
