Sheffield Maker Day

Come and have a play. Let’s make something. Sheffield is perfectly positioned at the heart of the UK Maker belt. Historically and also culturally there is something in the way we are, the things we make.

In the atrium of Yorkshire Art Space we will have lots of stalls where makers, hackers, artists, crafters and inventors will be showing off their work. You can expect to see projects using Raspberry Pi, Arduino or 3D printing alongside Knitting, Sewing and Printing. We’re interested in projects that take advantage of both the physical and the digital world. Our passion is for where visual aesthetics and functionality are combined. There will also be a few opportunities to have a go yourself.

Date: Saturday 28th June,
Venue: Yorkshire Artspace
Time: 11.00am-3.00pm
