Little Kelham: Urban Design for the Future

Citu is a sustainable developer, building “Little Kelham” the UK’s largest low carbon House development in Kelham Island, Sheffield. Once completed it will consist of 153 timber framed 1-4 bedroom, digitally enabled, family homes with gardens. These super insulated low carbon houses mean residents won’t need conventional heating.

During Sheffield Design Week, Citu invite visitors to “The Bakery” to view the range of homes available and discuss the plans for the area which showcases the role of design in urban development.

Design – Challenging Convention

Groundbreaking design comes from thinking differently and challenging convention.

Our design team considers every inch of space to bring simple and smart design features to each house. By making use of space and light, playing with heights and voids, and creating communal gardens they create a unique aesthetic in materials that are built to last.
