Using design to improve the experience of work
UK employers are under pressure to respond to challenging and rapidly changing business conditions. One dimension of that pressure is around talent attraction and retention. Becoming an employer of choice is the order of the day. We contend that using design to develop the physical asset of workspace – into a talent-attractive strategic tool for growth – is a smart investment.
Research from the UK Design Council reinforces this. They found that for every £1 invested in design, businesses can expect a four-fold return in profit. Work settings designed to improve the experience of work will delight, inspire, stimulate, and engage. They have become diverse landscapes populated with user-defined work tools. Interactive neighbourhoods support different user preferences and varied activities of work.
Dale Office Interiors delivers compliant, thoughtfully designed interiors for companies going through change. Fingers firmly on the pulse of the future of work, we live and breathe office design. These talks are for anybody interested in improving workplace effectiveness. In particular, how that relates to employee engagement, innovation and the future of work. It’s your chance to ask our team any burning workspace-related questions you may have.
We look forward to welcoming you into our space and sharing our best thinking on using design to improve the experience of work.
