We totally believe in the transformative power of creative thinking and in design, crafts, art, and technology as being agents for positive social change. We see an exciting future where creative people use their skills and imaginations to design products and services that provide a positive social impact as well as generate valuable cultural experience.
We are slated to open fully in the spring of 2015 but before then we will be launching a number of projects as we test out ideas and shape the model. First up we are delighted to be presenting our OPEN HOUSE as part of Sheffield Design Week.
For the whole weekend 28th-29th June we will be opening our doors to the public to talk all things ROCO and all things DESIGN. We will be hosting a number of special bite size talks from some very special guests and we will be getting the marker pens out to workshop our 1500 sq ft Maker Space – What goes in it? You decide.
If that wasn’t enough we will be documenting the whole event as we launch springboard style our DoGoods R&D platform, a place where social and creative thinking meet. So come and say hello, join in a workshop, grab a coffee and check out the space.
You can find out more about up and coming events and details of how to get involved on our website and on our twitter feed.
